Movin on Up!

That's right folks, I moved out of the parentals house! YAY for me! I'll admit that it was probably the hardest thing for me to DECIDE that I could move out and be okay with cooking for myself, buying my own groceries and toilet paper (it's a big deal). I was living the sweet life at home! My parents are SO awesome and I loved being with them. But something kept prodding me to move out... His name is Ledger! hahaha just kidding Staeshy.

I had planned on moving in with my friend from the singles ward, Moriah, before she left for her summer internship. It seemed perfect because she needed someone to stay in her house while she was gone all summer, and I needed somewhere that I could have friends over late without disturbing anyone. So, I moved in with her on March 18th and 19th. It has been so great living with Moriah for the last few weeks. We hardly ever see each other, but when we do we have so much fun! It will be tough to have her gone all summer. Plus, I will be lonesome by myself in her house. Guess that means that I will be having lots of girls nights and bonfires so that I won't get too lonely!! Plus it is comforting that my parents live in the same town and that I can always go visit them.. especially around dinner time! ;)

I know that it isn't my house, but I will have to do all the adult things around the house like make sure the garbage can is out on the curb one garbage day and cleaning and taking care of things. It is a lot of responsibility!

On a completely different note, I am getting super excited to go to NEW YORK to visit my favorite sister that lives in New York, Crystalyn! It's my birthday gift to me, I'm so happy!!!

I am a little nervous because I do have to get in a taxi cab all by myself at the airport to get to her apartment... SCARY!!! I am also nervous because she has told me over and over again to be prepared to walk all over the place and to prepare now and start walking.. but I leave this coming Thursday night and I haven't been walking hardly at all! I could blame the weather, but I have also been busy and lazy. I hope she will forgive me if I can't walk as fast as the rest of New York.

There are a lot of exciting things happening in my life. Work is going great! I have a big-girl job working as a staff accountant at Xango. Oh and, I am most likely going to be buying a new(ish) car after I get back from New York. I'm all growed up... or at least trying to be and it is some crazy scary stuff!
