update

Okay so I really suck at this blogging thing....

Not much is going on in my life. On paper my life sucks, but in real life its not so bad!

since I last blogged:

My baby sister graduated high school... weird!

Went to Vegas with the fam for my brother's graduation.

Got a new calling as R.S. teacher

Went to St. George to stay at my grandparents time share and hung out with my brother

Went to see Annie at the Tuachan

Had my windshield shattered by a golf ball... but the culprit was very cute! :)

Went to the Rodeo and got drenched! fun but very cold... oh and stinky!

Watched the parade on Lehi Main street

Watched the lamest fireworks show of my life... when I was younger they seemed a lot cooler!

hung out with family at a reunion

Went on a picnic with my friends

Went to Park City for some R&R

Saw an albino raccoon... yes I'm serious and no Dad it wasn't just a small white fluffy dog :)

Went down the alpine slide and fell over on my side. All I ended up with was a small road rash though.. lame (before this, I never thought it was possible to fall off the alpine slide)

Went to Olympic Park and watched the freestyle flyers show... which was awesome!

Went on a boating trip with my brother and my ward (I was the first one on the tube on my boat fyi)

Went to Sundance to see the Fantastiks. It was super cold, but really fun!

Helped my brother and sister move

Oh and I had and interview with Xango... I'm supposed to find out if I got the job today or tomorrow, so keep your fingers crossed and your prayers a comin!

I'm sure there's more to update you with, but this will suffice for now!

Peanut Butter Cookies

My sister Crystalyn made these cookies and shared them with me and they were yummy! She wanted me to somehow share the recipe with my gluten-free friend!

She got the recipe from my home ward cookbook. It was submitted by Julie Mchood, thanks Julie!
Here it is:
1 egg
1 cup white sugar
1 cup peanut butter
Beat egg with a fork. Add sugar. Mix well. Add peanut butter stir
until smooth.
Roll into walnut size balls and use a fork for the design on top.
Bake at 350 for 8-10 min.
VoilĂ ! Cookies!

IT'S A BOY!!!

He is here! My new little nephew is here!
Landon Kade Hall
was born Friday March 13, 2009 at 8:13 pm. He weighed in at 7 lbs 14 oz and is 21 inches long.
I'm sure his mom and dad are glad that he finally graced us with his presence after 13 hours of lovely hospital time.

It's funny cause we were all making guesses about when the baby would be born, but I don't think we even started guessing until 8 o'clock and since we hadn't heard anything, we were all guessing for after 10pm. I even sent Justin a text at 8:25 to get his guess on the time and the weight. Little did we know that he was already here! Justin did come the closest guessing his weight though... his guess was 7 lbs 12 oz.
Congratulations Hall Family!

Landon Kade Hall

My mom and Aunt Joan think that he looks really tired... poor boy had a long day!

Tanner and Baby Landon!

Landon and his big brother Tanner are gonna be buds! I can tell from this picture! Tanner already loves his brother! When Traci was pregnant Tanner told me that he would share his room when the baby came :) So adorable!

Tag you're it!!!

My parents own a bakery in the town that I grew up in. It is just a small family bakery that has been in the community for 20 plus years. But our white canvas of a building has only recently caught the eye of aspiring artists.

This is not the first time that the bakery has been tagged and my guess is that it won't be the last since the police insist that we clean it up and give our local gangs a fresh canvas to work with.

It has inspired me a little... Maybe we should tag the bakery ourselves!

I'm sure everyone could enjoy a little Country Bakery paint action on the side of our building.

best 2 weeks

For those of you that don't know, I just got back from being in Hawaii for two weeks and I miss it already.

I went to go visit my friends that are still going to school at BYU Hawaii. It seriously felt like I had never left. And I wish that I hadn't! It was a lot colder than I expected, but since I have already been there and lived there, I didn't care. While there I supported my friends in a production of Seussical the musical. They did such an amazing job and they were sold out for two of the three nights... but that didn't stop me from seeing it all three nights!! I am so glad that I got to see them perform! Great job Brett, Alyssa, Jessica, Janelle, Dustin, Christian, Lauren!! It was AMAZING!!

While in Hawaii I also went snorkling at turtle bay and saw some sea cucumbers and needle nose fish. went to kava roots for some acai. went to Honolulu zoo and saw the tiger cubs. went to Pali lookout and watched the wind undress Brett. went swimming at hukilau beach. went to a korean bbq shack and got stung by something and it was very painful. went to stake conference and listened to Todd Christofferson. played with friends. flew a kite. ate shaved ice. met utah weatherman mark eubank. ate cookie dough and watched movies. sang hollaback girl at the top of my lungs in a car full of people while driving in waikiki. had a blast! i never wanted to leave!
Here's to all of the people that helped make that trip the best and that let me crash their lives and stay with them. i love you all!!! and miss you too!!

Quick Update

Okay so not very much has been happening in my life. I have been working for my parents at the bakery because one of the workers was in a car accident. So that means that my job searching has basically stopped. I guess it is okay because if I had a real job then I wouldn't be able to take off from work and go visit friends and family like I have been doing. I am torn about what to do for a job because, I keep thinking that I should go live with my brother in St. George, but I don't know of any jobs down there... So I am still confused and still undecided.... which is normal for me. I should be used to it:)
