Love-hate relationship

Right now I have this sort of love-hate relationship with Hawaii! One day I love it because it is a beautiful day and I am able to take advantage of it and go to the beach... the next day I hate it because it is a beautiful day and I am stuck doing homework in the school library. I am starting to worry that I won't be able to finish all of the things that I need to finish in order to graduate. I have four accounting classes to take this semester in order to graduate. I am taking three of them from here and they all pile on the homework and presentations... PLUS I have an online accounting class that I am supposed to finish by Thanksgiving in order to have my transcripts sent over. This week alone I have two tests, a major presentation and regular homework.... I don't think that I will ever be able to appreciate the beauty I am surrounded by because I have so much work to do!!!! I am STRESSING Out!!

Another reason why I have a love-hate relationship with Hawaii is because of the rain... One second it will be so hot and sunny and within seconds all of that changes and it is pouring on me as I walk to school. I already have a hard enough time wanting to walk to school... and rain does not help the situation! About a week ago, my roommate Birgitte and I attempted to go to Hukilau beach. We literally got there, laid down our towels and sat down when it started to sprinkle on us. We were stubborn and stayed there for five more minutes because sometimes it clears up. Well, it started pouring on us! Since we were in our swimsuits already and we were wet already we decided to dance in the rain. We took our stuff home and then just wandered the streets of Laie! It was great! We stopped at my friend Lindsay's house to say hi and she thought that we were wet because we were in the ocean before it started raining... but no, we were soaked because of the rain!

So school or rain... either way it ruins what could be a beautiful day!
